OUGD401 Practical Work Further Research

I have talked with my peers about the possible association of characters such as from films and they believe that will be a really good idea to entice them to buy the product associated with it.

Minions:
Last year minions were a big hit with children and the merchandise that was produce of them is vast. After talking with my boyfriends little sister it was clear that she also loved minions. They aren't gender specific either both boys and girls like them so this could be something interesting I could use.


Kung Fu Panda:
Animals are usually associated on children's cereals and this film is based on animals. This again is not gender specific.

These cereals are quite new to the market, which shows that this is a branding technique within the cereal market that they are picking up on and using. The characters are large and provide a good central focus, the text is a lot smaller as the character is the main statement piece of design.
